See What You Can’t Yet See

Most leaders want to grow — but we all have blind spots that hold us back. The Blind Spot Review is a powerful, personalized tool to uncover what’s beneath the surface: the behaviors, patterns, and perceptions that shape how you lead.

This isn’t just another 360. It’s a mirror, a map, and a moment of clarity — designed to help you lead with greater self-awareness, stronger relationships, and more intentional impact.

Deep Dive Into the Blind Spot Review

Unlike other 360 review assessments, this assessment is based on the concrete, observable behaviors that your team and those around you can see.

After you sign up, we will create a unique version of the Blind Spot Review, just for you. Then, we’ll set you up to send the review to anyone you think could help you identify things you may not notice about yourself. We recommend sending it to your direct team, as well as those under your direct reports - the more responses, the better. The review should take each participant no more than 10 minutes to complete.

While they are working on their review of you, you will also complete a self-assessment. To get more information on the Blind Spot Review and the self-assessment, you can trial the self-assessment for free!

Participants are given 2 weeks to complete the Blind Spot Review. At that point, we will generate a personalized, unique report analyzing the results, including summaries of how others see you, spotlights on your leadership skills across the Elevate Labs Awareness - Alliance - Action model, and concrete recommendations for how to take your leadership to the next level.

FAQs

What exactly is the Blind Spot Review?

The Blind Spot Review is a personalized feedback process designed to help you see how others experience your leadership. It combines a self-assessment with anonymous input from peers, direct reports, and colleagues — all centered around the Compass Method’s three practices: Awareness, Alliance, and Action.

It’s not a traditional 360 — it’s more human, more focused, and designed to help you grow with intention.

How is this different from a typical 360 review?

Most 360s generate generic scores and static reports. The Blind Spot Review goes deeper. It focuses on observable behaviors, uses open-ended responses (not just ratings), and is grounded in a practical, human-centered leadership model.

More than that, though, the Blind Spot Review is not about giving you a “report card” on how well you’re rocking this leadership gig. It is designed with the intention of helping you be the best version of yourself that you want to be. In the self-assessment, you’ll answer questions about how you want others to perceive you, and your results and coaching will focus on how you can develop to excel.

I get it: as a straight A high achiever, I also want to see how much better I am than the average, and I want it in numbers and graphs. This ain’t it.

What if I don’t agree with what I hear?

That’s okay. Feedback is data, not a verdict. You don’t have to agree with every comment — but reflecting on why it shows up can open the door to powerful growth. Your coach (if selected) can help you make sense of the insights.

Is the Blind Spot Review validated?

Well hello IO Psychologist, so nice to have you here! Great question. The tl;dr version is no, but it is not intended to provide metrics for staff retention, promotion, HiPo selection, or talent acquisition. The Blind Spot Review is just that - a window into what others are seeing in your behavior at this moment in time.

Who should I invite to give feedback?

We recommend including a mix of people who work closely with you — your direct reports, peers, manager, and any stakeholders who’ve seen you lead. Even better if you can include people you’ve worked with in previous companies — or even engaged with outside of work. The more diverse the perspectives, the clearer the patterns will become.

For the best results, aim for at least 6–10 respondents. We’ll guide you through the setup process

How long does it take to complete?

For reviewers: about 10 minutes.
For you: 15–20 minutes for your self-assessment.

Once everyone has submitted their responses, we’ll analyze the results and deliver your custom report within 2 weeks.

Can I do this again later to track progress?

Yes! Many leaders use the Blind Spot Review as a baseline and repeat it 6–12 months later to track growth. We offer a repeat version at a highly discounted rate — just reach out and we’ll get you set up.

What are you doing with my data?

Your data is used solely to generate your personalized Blind Spot Review report. We do not sell, share, or use your responses for any other purpose.

If you're participating in a one-on-one version, your report is shared only with you (and your coach, if applicable). Feedback from others is anonymized and combined to highlight patterns — we never attribute comments to specific individuals.

We may aggregate anonymized insights across many reviews to improve our tools and better understand leadership trends, but nothing identifiable is ever shared.

If you have questions or want your data deleted after the review is complete, just let us know — we're happy to accommodate.

What do I get at the end of the review?

You’ll receive a personalized report highlighting how others perceive your leadership, common themes and blind spots, a word cloud of how others describe you, and actionable recommendations based on the Compass Method.

If you’ve selected the coaching add-on, you’ll also have a 1:1 debrief session to explore your insights and plan next steps.

Is my feedback anonymous?

Yes. All feedback from others is 100% anonymous. We never reveal individual names or responses — only themes and patterns across the group. We also redact identifying language if necessary.

Is this process confidential?

Absolutely. We take confidentiality seriously. Your report is shared only with you (and your coach, if applicable), and all feedback is anonymized and securely handled.
